Sportswriting and the GWAA lost an icon yesterday with the passing of Dan Jenkins. Jenkins, 90, was a legend, reinventing sportswriting and teaching a generation or two along the way. Our prayers are with his family.

"I tried hard and I wish more people had a sense of humor. I really do. CUT!"
